Interesting. Definitely more of a battle armour type suit.
He definitely looks a bit rough in that image, his hair is a mess, puffy eyes...Maybe he just got out of bed? hungover? Sometimes alien attacks happen at 3:00 AM?
Superman seems pretty nonchalant about slipping on those boots while a colossal energy beam obliterates the city.
I mean, think about it from his perspective. This kind of thing happens to him all the time.
"Goddammit...fine, I'll put my damn boots on to stop some Aliens from wrecking Metropolis....damned....this is the 3rd time this week! *murderous muttering*"

This is my favourite Batman film, and easily the greatest origin movie in the comic genre. It did so many things right, from making Wayne a full-formed, multi-dimensional character, to offering a tonally and structurally unique superhero film (and it still holds up as unique, nearly 20 years later).
Some of the scene kinda' fly under the radar until viewed as part of the entire trilogy. For example young Bruce falling into the well in Begins, then climbing out of the prison pit in The Dark Knight Rises. I didn't pick up on the visual symmetry until years after Nolan was done with Batman.

I remember being so skeptical about Batman Begins when it came out, it was like the first reboot lots of people thought it was a prequel to Batman 89 and if the movie bombed at the box office it probably would have been. They don't make superhero movies like this anymore, one of the best ever.

I was bored, so I'm rewatching Moon Knight. After you consider the Loki saga done, Moon Knight and Werewolf by Night are the MCUs most interesting properties, by story, actors and characters.
But they don't seem to be in any of the plans moving forward. Some of the weakest properties getting the call to action.

Please please please maximize the screen time of Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza at the same time. I can't think of two better actresses in this kind of franchise I'd want to act off each other. That alone should make this delightful.
