It's one thing to speed when no traffic - I think most could care less. But people get nervous and react weirdly to surprises like this guy. Imagine reacting weirdly and this guy hits you and kills himself? That would weigh heavily on anyone.
I think it was a stolen bike in LA a few years back, but some guy was going slower than this 200-210? But crashed into a left turning car. Pretty graphic cartwheel with clothes not even staying on.
I get its a thrill or whatever, but theres a reason those speeds are typically limited to Tracks.
One little rock. One unseen pothole. One unexpected lane change. One panicked driver or even so much as a puddle at that speed and that guy's funeral would be closed-casket.

There are 2 types of bikers, old bikers and dumb bikers. This behaviour will catch up to him one day, hopefully without involving another driver or pedestrian.
I’ve done some questionable stuff on bikes but never has it occurred to me to weave in and out of traffic, let alone at a ridiculous speed like that.

You don't even need to 'react weirdly'. Going that fast, most folks wouldn't judge his speed accurately and would lane change into him, not expecting him to be going that fast, especially lane splitting.

Govern the noise and speed. Why are bikes and even cars not governed? Why should a vehicle be even allowed to go faster than 130km/hr?
Some US interstates are 80MPH (~130km/h) so for the one off situations like that you’d want it governed higher than that, but is there any reason why 150 wouldn’t work? That covers your 130km/h and gives some room for passing at that speed.
300km/h on a bike is a quick way to turn yourself into a meat crayon.

I should add that what that biker did was mind numbilgly stupid. Vancouver might have the dumbest lane changers in all of Canada. They're lucky they didn't turn into seal food . And that bridge was slow in terms of traffic in that video, most times of the day that's packed.
