Nowhere public that I know of. It just costs them too much money and it’s a short season as it is.

Interesting. I could have sworn I played some courses with 10 minute times but that was two years ago now since I've golfed. 8 minute times suck, all they do is back up the course.

I'm pretty sure Speargrass is 15 min intervals.

9 minutes during normal times and they'll bump up to 10 minutes as you get into twilight times.

Is there a golf bag for travelling/backpacking that anyone would recommend? I plan to go to the UK and Mediterranean solo and would love to stop into many countries for lessons and round. Definitely not the typical large travel bag, but something more compact and I can take a tool with me to pop off driver and wood heads.

Would a sunday bag work, or do you plan on carrying a full set of clubs?

Headed to Kelowna for work at the beginning of June. Have some time to probably get a couple rounds in as a single. What two courses should I hit?

Tower Ranch. Gallaghers. Harvest. Probably 2 of those.
Predator if you want to drive.

How far is Predator? I am staying close to the airport, worth the drive over the others?

30 mins from the airport. I heard predator wasn’t great last year so hard to say. It’s about $100 more than the local courses.
I really like tower and Gallaghers.
Predstor (ridge)
Tower ranch
Predator (predstor)
Gallagher
Harvest
Is how they are likely ranked…

Anyone have Country Club connections? Word on the street is all their greens are dead. Brutal if true, considering they had issues last year as well.
Anyone played enough to comment on conditions elsewhere around town?

Can’t stand Tower Ranch, some really, really great holes, but too many gimmicks going on to make it enjoyable. Predator ridge is one of my favourite courses around.
I also like the Bear course at Okanagan golf club which is close to the airport, but would stay away from Quail.

Gimmicky like say the back 9 at Drum? Or gimmicky like say Silver Tip? Also I thought about the OGC courses for and early 18 before my meetings, why Bear over Quail?

I’d say neither there’s just some goofy design decisions around the greens that didn’t need to be. False fronts with shaved approaches, and sloped greens, I’ve seen guys miss putts not by much and be 30 yards off the green. I’m probably being hard on the place it has nice views, probably worth playing once to see for yourself.
For me Quail has these holes where you have to hit exactly 217 yards to the dog leg and then have 189 yards to the green, any shorter and you are blocked out. Long is bad. Did I mention there’s a tree in the middle of the fairway too at the dogleg?
