'Hawks beat Dallas at home last night, and draw an afternoon game against the Wild, whose playoff hopes are fading. As far as "tanking", the 'Hawks are 8-6 over the recent stretch.

Pretty flat 1st period for the 'Hawks at the UC, but, the Wild can't really generate much but perimeter shots. 0-0.

Kaprisov with a PPG early in the 2nd. 1-0 Wild. This game really feels like two teams going through the motions. The Wild aren't mathematically eliminated, but, for practical purposes, have little chance to make the playoffs.

Looks like the Wild are going to get rookie, Jesper Wallstedt, his first win as they cruise out to a 3-0 lead after 2 periods. The 'Hawks, really, look listless, and Soderblom is getting no help.

No points for Ovechkin yet, but, the Capitals are up 2-1 early in the third period.
Caufield with the late first period goal, 1-0 Habs. Primeau is in net and has stopped all 23 Rangers shots.
It is 1-1 in New Jersey.

Big win by Arizona and Ottawa
Both could pass us and bump up our draft position

Wow, the wins by Coyotes is consequential in so maby ways and it may affect the Flames in a good or bad way! That win against the Kings a few games ago was just unnecessary and consequential.

The Rangers tie it in Zibanejadian fashion. Kreider and Panarin with his third point of the game put the Rangers up 3-1.
The Devils lead 2-1.

The Flames were never going to lose out.. for me, the Kings win was equaled by the Ducks loss.

The pace in this Dallas and Colorado game is quick. A playoff series with these two would be fun to watch.
