Mcilroy to LIV rumors have started, thanks to some comments from Mcilroys former agent Chubby Chandler. Didn't seem like a big deal, until Mcilroy responded with a "he might know a few things".
I think I would take a long break from watching professional golf if this happens. My concern is that every signing with LIV rumor, with the exception of Matsuyama, actually came to be.

Yeah, what a deathblow to a dying professional sport. Mackenize Hughes had it about right. But at the end of the day it's an extremely privileged based sport, so shouldn't come as a surprised how a privileged group of athletes is acting.

Yeah he is looking haggard. Obviously doing coke fills in the "what was he doing the last 12 years" blank. But he's still arguably the most interesting get for LIV so far in terms of actually bringing in casuals to see how he plays. Of course bringing him back to play his first few events at 3am in the US is pretty dumb, but it's also better for him to get in a few DFLs when no one is even paying attention (more so than usual) before he comes back to America.

Golf is boring now. There's basically three separate tours; Liv, pga elevated events + majors, and then all the other events with garbage fields.

Golf has always been boring outside of the majors.

This course needs to play a lot firmer for it to be considered the 5th major. 36 sub-70 rounds is a bit of a joke with a half-assed field.

At least there should be half a dozen players in contention tomorrow. It is better than a potential runaway. Too bad the Canadians sucked today.
Unrelated, but those new Puma golf shoes look hideous.

Haven’t seen a par 3 tee shot that fat since Spieth at Augusta 12.

Scottie switches to the mallet, immediately wins two in a row. If it's not some kind of golf equivalent of a dead cat bounce he's gonna dominate this year.

I finally finished Full Swing season 2 this weekend and it was pretty good again. I like a lot of the US guys, but watching them lose the Ryder Cup was still good. I think mostly because I think they should’ve taken Bradley.

Well don’t I feel like an A hole now after that interview…
It is pretty cool to see what first time/long time without a win gets you on the Tour, in addition to the pay check.
