10:45 a.m. ET — Shawn Lemon, our sixth-ranked pending free agent, has tweeted that there’s “fresh lemonade for sale” at 12:00 noon ET. It sounds like the West Division’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player is headed to free agency.

I don't have that big of a problem moving on from Shawn Lemon as he is getting up there in age. I just hope there is a good player to fill his shoes.

Hamilton is all-in, that's for sure...
11:40 a.m. ET — TSN’s Farhan Lalji is reporting that the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will make former B.C. Lion Joel Figueroa the highest-paid American offensive lineman in the CFL with a deal worth $195,000. That’s a good chunk of change!

Or maybe get older?!?
11:52 a.m. ET — Justin Dunk reports that multiple teams are interested in 39-year-old sack master Charleston Hughes. His preferred destination? Back where it all began with the Calgary Stampeders.

I don't blame Lemon for looking for one last payday but he's going to be 35 in August. I still think he should be good for 8 sacks (seems to be his trend outside of last season) next season but how much is that worth?

12:38 p.m. ET — A bombshell from 3DownNation’s own Justin Dunk, who reports that the Montreal Alouettes have signed veteran receiver Greg Ellingson. After losing Eugene Lewis, the Als have a new top pass catcher.

If Vaughters can be the same guy he was previously in Calgary, it could turn out to be pretty good...
1:57 p.m. ET — According to 3Down‘s Ryan Ballantine, Dave Dickenson is pretty pleased with his moves during his first free agency as Stampeders’ general manager. He believes the new defensive end combo of James Vaughters and Julian Howsare “has the potential to cause problems for the opposition.”

Not sure why they didn't try harder to keep Bane? It's not like the Stamps have been spending big.

3:02 p.m. ET — Edmonton is back at it with another receiver signing, confirming the addition of East Division all-star Steven Dunbar Jr. With Eugene Lewis, Dillon Mitchell, Manny Arceneaux and now Dunbar, is anyone going to be able to cover the Elks?

If the line can give the QB time, that’s a damn hard group to cover.

No way the Ti-Cats are cap compliant...
4:41 p.m. ET — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have made a splash, signing receiver Duke Williams from the Saskatchewan Roughriders. I, for one, think Duke to The Hammer is a perfect fit, given how he likes to use his helmet like one.
