GOAT!

Would be pretty funny if Roloson opted to dress for the Flames over E=NG.
Also, I expect Pronger's wife to lace em up for the Flames.

Alumni from the glory years are in their 60s now. Some, like Lanny pushing 70.
I expect the alumni game participants will be mostly be the '04 Flames and '06 Oilers cup run teams.

Speaking of which, they'll let Mike Comrie play, but he'll have to pay.

Why a Sunday, and not a Saturday?
Also, I hope Ryan Whitney plays, so he can get smashed by Gelly, Iggy, etc

Ugh, that's my bad. Hockeydb didn't have that listed.
I knew I'd heard the name recently, should have done better.

Makes me wonder how Langkows health has held up? that was a rough injury to watch. taking a 100mhp piece of rubber in the back of the neck.

I'm not sure how he's done since he retired but he did pass a physical and play a full season with Phoenix after that injury. Flames traded him for Stempniak.
He was on the Coyotes team that made the 2012 West Final.

That would be amazing if Kipper played. It'd also be rad if Commy, wore a blended jersey, like ComMontadore.

On one hand, I'd love to see Kipper play one more time. On the other, I don't want it to be in Edmonton.
If they do convince him to come over, I hope they can do a full tribute night (with jersey raising) for him in Calgary.

I'm clearly getting old since I don't see the appeal of these outdoor games. It costs enough to see NHL hockey in a fit for purpose climate controlled arena, why would I pay the same for bad sight lines and bad weather, while in this case having to spend time in Edmonton. Even watching on TV it looks interesting but that wears off quickly and you are left with below average hockey on troublesome ice.
For those that have gone in the past and would go again, what did you like about it?
I am excited we will see a new Flames jersey for this.
