If they call Phillips up they need to give him 10 games in a top 6 role or it’s a waste of time
To be honest if they aren’t going to call him up with an honest audition they need to trade him. He leads the AHL in scoring… cash in while you’re ahead if you have no intention of playing the best player in the AHL.

What more are they expecting of him or of the current low performing NHL players? It makes literally no sense. Trade while the asset value is likely high.
