I downloaded and have been using the firefox browser since I first read this thread on here. It is a great one and I actually like it better than IE.......a question for anybody who can help......with firefox, I can't get my toolbar on the bottom (the one with the clock) to stay on top when I have the window in full screen. With IE it disappearred after a 2nd, but when you wanted it to show you just have to move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and it comes back up........with firefox I can't get it to do that, but instead have to minimize to see what's down there........this is the only thing I don't like as it's a pain for switching from one page to the other sometimes..................does anybody using this know how I can fix this, or if I can?

suggestions?

Tell them to right click the Taskbar on an empty area (not on an open program or tray icon), Properties. Make sure "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" is checked.

Um. I'm pretty sure this will fix it.

Right click on the taskbar (the one with the clock) and hit "Properties"

Uncheck "Auto-hide taskbar" and..
Check "Keep Taskbar on top of other windows"

NEW QUESTION...

I just switched to the new version of Firefox. Everything seems the same except that my tabs now have a scroll bar instead of getting smaller and smaller. I liked the smaller and smaller because most sites have a little icon that helps you recognize which tab is which site.

Anyone know how to switch this?

In your location bar (where you'd type http://www.calgarypuck.com), type:

"about:config" (without quotes)

type in filter:

browser.tabs.tabMinWidth

Double click on this Preference Name and change value to 0 (default: 100).

You shouldn't but might have to re-start Firefox for this to change.

Having a full screen mode is just that. It covers your full screen and does not allow you to access anything behind it. It's doing what it's supposed to. You are looking for a fit to screen which is just like maximize window control. IE's full screen mode is not a full screen mode. Just another example of bad interface consistency from Microsoft.

If you press the Window key + Tab, the task bar will show up without minimizing Firefox or exiting full screen.

Any suggestions for this. I have recently downloaded the new version of firefox and now when I go to NHL.com. The tabs do not keep multiplying like they used to. Now the next game will appear in the second window.
How do I get it back to when I can click on all 5 games and have 5 seperate tabs.
I have selected open in NEW tab but it doesn't seem to work.

What am I doing wrong?
