This has me roaring, thinking back to that video clip.

Best of luck to Monahan! Cheering for him to get back to good health.

I absolutely feel this way. Legitimately hope he can bounce back whereas I actively want the other two to fail. Particularly Gaudreau.

Fits perfectly. Even the identity of the joker about him is.... boring.

You're talking about an NHL record holder, -7 in one game against the Bruins where the final score was 9-0 for Boston. He kept things interesting.

One of the best threads on here in a while. Laughing out loud at it all. Butler? Butler did it! Toast stories. Even the surprise on his face when he sees the locker room...."whoa...nice"

I liked:
1. They had a jersey ready but not a nameplate for his locker?
2. Worst looking toast ever and he took what he soon realized was WAAAY to big of a bite.
3. His tour guide. Won't make fun of the guy but not management? No players to tour him around?
4. Went shopping in the gift store and they had to mention, uhh MonoHab, you gotta pay for that you know? Seemed so cheesy.
5. Not sure the girls knew who he was, but they do now!
6. "What is the cheapest thing possible in the this store? A keychain? Mom's Christmas is taken care of!!"

God I love the guy.

It’s even funnier if it wasn’t Butler. “Wow”

Someone asked Sean Monahan if that story deserves a toast, and he said "yes."

Also, lots to unpack in that video:

- Lots of "wows" looking at the Bell Centre facilities; a little nicer than the Saddledome sadly

- Montreal hot dogs after games are apparently quite the tradition in NHL locker rooms; 2-3 sounds about right

- LOL at Monahan gravitating to the personalized keychains to get as gifts for his parents

- LOL at Monahan getting super excited at buying his dog a Habs dog toy
Well it's not like he had a ton of things to do as a Blue...

After seeing Butler’s Twitter bio, it makes sense that it was him:
