Tons of chances? Not sure about that

Jarnkrok, Tanev, Gaudreau breakaway. Any one of those sinks the very fragile Sabres, especially the first two because I think the floodgates open as Flames confidence rise and Sabres wilt.
JGs would’ve given the time left in the game.

The way I saw it, Sabres had a lot of chances and made Markstrom work, Calgary had a lot of chances and flubbed the puck (or missed the net) repeatedly.

I don’t know how it ended but it was 10 to 4 in high danger chances after two. Sabres were the better team to that point, regularly getting behind the Flames D.

Well who knows if the floodgates would have opened. In the game that actually occurred Flames just didn’t play that well.

Why would the flames need a goal to see their confidence rise? We’re they unsure they could beat the Sabres?

Sabres just beat the Leafs twice. Even the bottom teams are skilled, more news at 11.
