The forgotten big play in the end will be that drop by Boyd. Would have been a first down and maybe they can get a FG or even kill the game. First drop for him all year too.

How Sam Darnold with one arm was able to stop the Cincy running back short of the first down on 3rd and 1 at the end.

You can't even get your facts straight on the Superbowl either!
Edit: LOL, was an amazing play though!

Cooper Kupp proved in the post season that he was also the regular season MVP IMO.
Was the best player in the Regular season, post season, and Super Bowl this year.
Still don’t think Rodgers deserved it.

My son is a huge Rams fan so I’m really happy mostly for him right now. I do tend to cheer for western teams over eastetn teams so all in all I’m happy with the result.
The Rams got the benefit of those calls at the end, but they got robbed earlier on the Bengals first touchdown. In the end I think it was outstanding plays by Stafford, Kupp, and Donald that made the difference.
Good game and an exciting end to a great NFL season.

Pretty epic season by Kupp. Probably fitting he wins MVP because the one guy who shouldn't get a chance to score that T.D. did. But that Rams D Line made a substantial contribution in the second half.

Rams -2.5 at half
OBJ first touchdown scorer of the game
OBJ under 64 yards receiving
Over 48.5 points
Burrow to NOT throw an interception
$5.50 to win $1,065.
Heartbreak. Hell of a sweat though.
I bet rams to win the super bowl In the off-season and hedged with bengals +4.5 though. Not a bad day!
Pretty good entertaining game though. Poor offence but the D stepped up.
Best halftime show in last 25 years. Don’t listen to Dino.

Totally agree. Offense gets rewarded more. Everyone knew the Rams were going to Cupp and he still got open, twice!!

As far as I'm concerned, if the game comes down to the final possession, it's a good Super Bowl no matter how that possession turns out or what mistakes are made.
But it was brought down a bit by thinking "good lord would the Bills have obliterated either of these teams".

I'm so freaking happy for Stafford.
Weddle's story is wild too. Spontaneously comes out of retirement, immediately takes over the green dot, plays the SB with a torn pec and then rides into the sunset again. Not bad.

The Bills lost to the Jaguars at one point....who finished dead last in the NFL.
The Bengals beat the Chiefs, who beat the Bills a week earlier.
No assurance they would have beat anyone yesterday. Just not how that league works anymore.

Taking nothing away from Kupp, he definitely deserved the MVP, but the Rams defense won them that game in the end. After the 75 yard TD and the instant turnover right after that, the Rams D proceeded to allow 61 yards on 31 plays to end the game. Just completely shut the Bengals down with a totally dominant second half. Bengals OLine did about as well as could be expected in that first half, but just couldn't maintain it all game. Good news is they have lots of cap space and can use most of their draft capital improving the trenches on both sides. But yeah letting Burrow get sacked 70 times a year is not gonna be sustainable in the long run.
Bengals did terribly in situational football last night. So many bad calls on third and fourth down from Zac Taylor, like running it with Perine on that third and two before the game ending play was especially bad. You're paying Joe Mixon $12 million a year, you should probably let him have the ball if you're going to run in that moment, especially since he was averaging 5 YPC. Also should have been looking to use Chase more a la Deebo with some runs, in the second half he didn't get the ball much because Burrow was being crushed, get the ball in your best playmakers hands in other ways.
Good game overall, definitely not an all-timer or anything close, but a good 7/10 game.

I would have been okay with Donald winning MVP as you can argue Higgins has a better game than Kupp. I just feel that Donald and the defensive line was the difference in the game.

Not sure how.
Kupp was on an island facing double coverage most of the game and especially that last drive where he was the ONLY guy Stafford was even looking for. Yet he caught 4 passes and drew 3 flags. It was a bit of an epic performance really.
Higgins had a great game for sure but he was also enjoying the freedom that Chase being double-teamed provided from the opening kick off.

yup. Higgins had a great game, but the Rams had to take care of Chase and also respect the run. Rams lost OBJ and had no running game at all, so Kupp still finding ways to make the difference was impressive. Donald would have deserved it too though, no doubt.
