Wasn't that other thread a continuation of a previous thread and it was also started before the election. I also really didn't see a lot of talk about Jyoti Gondek being the first female mayor of Calgary.
I'm strongly, strongly in favor of fluoridation, but don't get why they're saying it won't increase taxes or water rates. As far as I know no other layer of govt is paying for it - so where is the money coming from?
Be grownups and argue that the things you're spending money on are priorities. Or acknowledge that you're cutting elsewhere.
