Oilers looking at DeAngelo.
Does anyone have any of the details as to what happened with DeAngelo? I know there was some kind of altercation with a teammate and that the Rangers sat him after that and tried to terminate his contract. But can anyone elaborate on things he has said/done?

What's worse than No Good?
Like is it even possible? We are reaching unprecedented levels. It's unfathomable if this goes through.
Like holy ####, McJesus needs to veto this ####.

DeAngelo may be an insufferable ######bag, but he is a talented player and would really help the Oilers. That skill level from the backend would make then a lot more dangerous, so I hope they don't go down this road. DeAngelo would likely be a great gamble for them though. What is one more insufferable ######bag on a team of insufferable ######bags?

Ethan Bear was the target of racist comments on Twitter at the end of the season so they go out and sign Deangelo in the following offseason?

Might just be using DeAngelo as an option to use as leverage in Barrie negotiations.

Except he ends up not helping the team because he becomes a huge problem in the DR.

the oilers had the league's highest scoring defenseman last season and it didn't help them worth jack sh when it counted, so yes please add the maga qanon freak to the roster and fan base trying to nail down tolerance and diversity. I actually cannot wait.

Not even an Orange Julius source?
As much as I hate the Oil, I don't think they'd go down this path after Ethan Bear's experience.

None - I just don’t think he helps any team at all.

This would be vintage Oilers, literally the worst franchise in all of professional sports…. Not surprised based on the management group up there. The Oilers are a complete embarrassment to the sport of hockey and the National Hockey League.
