Top line came through today and Rask helped shut the door. Kadri took a Penalty in OT, kudos to the PKers for killing it off before taking the win! Down to a best of 3. I also protest the 3 stars to the CPHL.

no injury! It's a miracle!
it's the tough series I expected. Not surprised we couldn't win this one with our makeshift blueline, but then again, 17 shots is unacceptable. Goligoski will be back in game 5, that should help defensively. Will have to re-shuffle up front for the next one ...
also congrats to the mighty Joseph Duszak for getting to play a playoff game. Not quite the Tim Ramholt experience in terms of ice-time, but still, it's going to show you that dreams do come true lol.

The line blender helped today and Koskinen actually showed up which is nice.
Looks like we have a series, now 2-2.
Just wish JT Miller would show up for a game...he has been too quiet.

3 1 goal games and 2 in OT. It is a strong series.
My team has not scored a PP goal all series- this is a huge difference maker so far!! I tried to change the PP lines a bit but nothing going still...

Holtby steals one, Sid finally gets on the board, and the third line comes up big as the Leafs push the Flyers to the brink.
I still feel this won't end well...

Congrats to the Coyotes!
Saw this coming. Limped into the playoffs on a massive losing streak.
Will debate the GMs future in the next few weeks.

What has happened to MAF?
I think if games were simmed this morning when they were supposed to be, we would have won. I blame Pat for this loss.

Big win to even the series. I figured this would be a long series. I knew we had to win this one to have a chance. Lehkonen had a big game for us and Price made the saves he needed too. Heading back to the big Apple for game 5. Will be an exciting finish!

Coyotes 4 - Avalanche 1
Coyotes made a decision to start our backup, as our starter was looking exhausted.
Backup earned the 3rd star today, probably should have been the 1st star
Thank you Swayze11 for a fun series.

Jordan Binnington (COL), 20 saves from 24 shots - (0.833), L, 0-3-0, 60:00 minutes
Anthony Stolarz (PHO), 30 saves from 31 shots - (0.968), W, 1-0-0, 60:00 minutes
3 Stars
1 - Alex Killorn (PHO)
2 - Ryan Lindgren (PHO)
3 - Anthony Stolarz (PHO)
Game Notes
Oliver Ekman-Larsson is injured at 1:45 of 3rd period (Left Knee)

This is some straight up bullsheet.
I took a quick look at the score during work and saw we blanked the Leafs 3-0 and also checked the shots and if there were injuries.
I spent the next hour so happy. Vas clearly dominating in his return to the line up and shuts down the Leafs. We finally out shot them too AND did it all without any injuries. Terrific bounce back to help the team move into a very winnable best out of 3.
Get home, check the thread to read everyone's takes from their games and see Quigz taking about how Holtby stole the game. Actual photo of what went through my mind...
Did I click on the wrong day? Scroll to the top, see that the zero was actually the O from overtime and have spent the next 10 minutes crying.
We finally outshoot the Leafs but Vas couldn't stop a beach ball. Fortunately for him though, the GM doesn't have tons of faith in Matt Murray to be any better. So, we will run the exact same lines for game 5 and hope Vas returns to his regular season form and can get us back into this series.

Nashville and Philly are on the ropes today. Hoping I can lengthen my series today with a whole new set of line combos. Good luck to all.
