[2nd Order ARRIVED] Custom Replica Calgary Cannons Jerseys
I will start this off with saying these would not be official Wilson/Rawlings MiLB jerseys, however, after some research...I have discovered that according to the government of Canada Website...The Trademark for Cannons logo from the Mid 90s expired in 2005 (I believe this is how CofDead Is able to produce the mid 90s Cannons Hats but not the 2002 one as that logo was renewed in 2015 by MiLB) I realize this is a grey area for the CP “no counterfeits” rule...so if this crosses a line please feel free to take it down and let me know!
I have been tinkering with some graphic design stuff and think I’ve managed to come up with a fairly decent quality wordmark and shoulder patch from a photo.
Below is a mock up of a 1994 Alex Rodriguez #8 Home Jersey.
UPDATE:
The samples arrived and I’m not super impressed by the stitched jerseys. The twill on the wordmark and numbers is a bit bubbly and sort of has that “fake” look. In my opinion, they are not worth twice the price of the dye-sublimated ones. The Dye-Sublimated do look fantastic. Unfortunately, due to a substantial number of people changing their mind from stitched to dye-sublimated. I won’t be able to honour the price of $80 for the A-Rod/Edgar jerseys. The $80 was based on us hitting the minimum order of 25 pcs of each style. If you still want to try a stitched jersey, it can still be done, but unfortunately any order number less than 25 they will be charging the sample price which will be $100.
Dye-Sublimated
Stitched

Would it just be A-Rod only or would other players be available?

I'd totally be interested.
I believe I also may have an authentic (3rd?) jersey from this era, so let me know if you need photos of the wordmark and arm patch up close.
Here's the version I have:

Other players could be done up, but the cost for stitched on “one offs” may be too high. The Price above is based on us hitting the minimum order needed.
Dye Sublimated I believe would still be the same price.
I considered Jose Tolentino or Frank Gonzales as they were pretty cool guys when I was a kid doing their Weekend Little Leavue Clinic...but not sure anyone would remember them.

I would prefer a Edgar Martinez jersey, but that is going back to the 80's early 90's and a completely different jersey:
Some of the players you could do with that jersey are:
Tino Martinez
Omar Vizquel
Brett Boone
Jay Buhner
Danny Tartabull

I could probably whip that up no problem. I have a physical jersey of that vintage. Much better players, but a horrendous looking jersey...why are they bringing blue Into the equation!?

Thanks, I have one as well.
I decided to go with the White Pinstripes as that was the only jersey that had the players names on the back. The grey and blue didn’t.
I would be able to whip that one up pretty quick would just need to add white trim instead of blue....actually...I’m kicking myself I didn’t start with this jersey as it would have been much easier to get the logo from than the pinstriped one...

I think it was down to being the AAA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, and being able to use blue batting helmets and catchers gear like the big club.
I actually think this was the franchise's best look once they moved to the buttoned up jerseys in the early 90's.

I would have to spend some time to iron out the Crest before doing this jersey so the N’s lines up better...and find the proper font...but this is roughly what an Edgar Martinez 80s Cannons Jersey would look like.

I guess if I were to do an “authentic” style Martinez I’d need to have no buttons...

I have a sample of a stitched and dye-sublimated Cannons jersey coming from this company. (I might have “accidentally” had the 2002 Style Made up ( a lot more of a grey area...Canadian TM expired, USA TM still valid...)
When they arrive I will post them to help you make your decision.

I'd be in for a white Martinez - looks great, and lets be honest, that's the font/crest everyone associates with the Cannons.

False...
I vaguely remember the Red/Blue/White Scheme...this is what they wore through most of the games I watched.
