That couldn’t have gone much better. 7 excellent goals, Keita plays 90, Ox is back, and Minamino grabs a really nice goal that should hopefully help his confidence along.

Is Laporte hurt, or has he fallen so far out of favour that he’s not even making the bench now?

Pretty sure Laporte was on the bench against West Brom, so looks like he's just down the order now. Stones looks to have gotten himself back into the good graces.

Wow. That was a pretty blatant handball by Sterling.

I mean, isn't that why VAR was brought in to correct missed calls?

of all the weird things I've seen lately, Rob Holding actually wearing the captains armband is pretty high on the list. But a quality finish, I will give him that.

Kroenke rightly gets a lot of heat for his lack of spending, but when you do let your team spend and it spends £72 million on Nicolas Pepe, I can understand his reluctance.

Has to be Arteta's last game.
I feel for him and do think he can be a great manager but the job might just be too large for his experience level. What a mess.

Frankly, you cant make bricks without clay. The squad is a mess and they really needed someone with experience.

I have no issues with Arteta, but he was basically given an impossible task.

That being said, Arsenal are still better than this. They should be better than this. Similar to United, they go through spells that make you think:

"Wow, this is actually a pretty good team."

And then promptly fall flat on their faces.

I loved watching the games with him. He used to live across the street from Selhurst when he was still living in England.

But make no mistake...my Father in Law made this point exceptionally clear; The 'Home Field' advantage of Selhurst park lies exclusively in the visiting team wanting to GTFO of Selhurst ASAP.

Granted, this was many years ago and I'm sure its been renovated, but Selhurst is no picnic apparently.

I don’t think it has been renovated, yet. There was a plan laid out a couple years ago, but it hasn’t been started (IIRC).

Wonder what the true story is of Ozil's exclusion from the squad?
