Hahah, that's some garbage officiating.
The game management is pretty clear there with the refs not calling Boston penalty, but calling the Tampa penalty seconds later. Both were pretty obvious calls.

Maroon scored a big OT goal to win the series in round 2 for St Louis last year too

Good question.
Didn't think he looked noticably slower than he has the past few years, but he's got a lot of miles on that body. Maybe one more season just because?

They were talking about that this afternoon on 960. He is still an NHL Dman, but certainly not a top pairing guy anymore. He would have to come back at a very low cost..like 1M or even less.
A good point was brought up though in that how does a guy at his age prepare for a season when they dont know for sure when that season is going to begin? Different for a guy in his mid 40's than a 27 year old....no question.
If he thinks they have a team that can win it all he will come back I'm guessing, but there are big changes coming for that group and things will not look the same in a couple months.

He made $2M this year - I think he makes about the same next year, but only for a team he really wants to play for.
