This group has no structural discipline at home, whether it’s the coaching or the players, no idea. Hanafin pinching whenever he wants, forwards not getting the puck behind their D and finishing a check, lateral passes in the neutral zone. These are basic mistakes that good teams don’t make, and the Flames tend to limit on the road.

Team has been known to pour it on on the road when up a goal or 3, building is pretty quiet at that point.

They aren’t losing because of any chip and chase system. Quite the opposite. They are trying to pass up ice and getting intercepted.
