Pepsi or Coke?
Simple question. Given a choice, Pepsi or Coke?
I'm team Pepsi all the way. But I'm curious what others think of this extraordinarily important question.

I like Pepsi more than Coke, but I prefer Coca-Cola's overall line of beverages.

It's hard to believe, isn't it? I mean, you hardly ever see anyone drinking pop and most stores that used to sell it have gone out of business because demand has completely disappeared.

If given the choice between the two, I'd rather just swallow half a pound of sugar and get the diabetes over with.

I feel like there are some gaps in your understanding of diabetes.

Coke was never the same once they removed the cocaine. That was a really poor business and marketing decision.

The sales figures don't really point that out though. There has been a minuscule drop since 2013, but its still almost a 3 billion dollar industry in Canada. That drop in sales volume can probably be more attributed to pricing decreases as the manufacturers fight for the market. You might be right in one aspect in that the average Canadian is consuming less pop, from 2013 to 2018 Canadians went from drinking 60 gallons a year to about 45. That's still a huge market.

Pepsi. I don't drink pop by itself and use it strictly for mix and while Pepsi is a little sweeter but has a simpler more straightforward taste which is better for mixing. I use about 1/3 just to give some carbonation and sweetness and IMO Coke has that vanilla aftertaste that interferes/masks the taste of rye or rum.

That’s my list exactly. About all I drink is Coke Zero.
I have a great collection of Coke stuff.

Eric, I use Coke for exactly that purpose and reason. I find it a much better mixer. I’m really fussy about that, to the extent that I stayed on beer on NYE when my buddy had Aldi brand cola for my whiskey.
Mind you, I felt much better for it on New Years Day.
Also, sometimes there is nothing better than an ice cold Coke in the morning when feeling crusty after a big night out.

When I drank pop a lot it would definitely be Coke over Pepsi. I enjoyed both but liked Coke better.
I've cut back on pop a lot so I might have one bottle every 2-3 months now, and it will either be a Dr. Pepper or a Canada Dry Ginger ale.

Coke. Actually don't really like pepsi that much. But if you mix them together it's like heroin.
Coke in the US is way sweeter than in Canada though. I cant really stomach it down there.
