Especially at a small table for two. Specials, drinks, candles, small fake flowers maybe. Then add a drink, a water, bread.

By the time they bring the appetizer we have to use a second table to empty all of the extra junk onto to make room.

But I sure do miss the large holders for single use jams and peanut butters.

This has been my experience, too. They slowly meander along, get to their car, and seem stunned that there is a line of traffic behind them, waiting for them to get their @$$es out of the middle of the road.

Halloween bars are getting seriously bad for not only size getting smaller, it seems like they are using crappier chocolate for them. Like waxier or something. A mini aero is practically inedible.

I hate it when squeeze bottles have a different pressure thresholds before squirting. The French's ketchup bottles are perfect, but Heinz and Helman's, its crazy. You can't lay a good, consistent line of condiment down on a hot dog if you don't know when its going to release.

Now you've done it.

Yeah, Heinz really needs to calibrate their bottles. Nothing, nothing, nothing then jet stream of ketchup across your plate.

Wow, mind blown with that "make it like a mac" play. Is that a real thing? I get subjected to McDonalds every now and again because kids, but that sounds like the way to go!

And the worst McDonalds in the free world is the Glenmore Landing location. Maybe the worst in the entire world, I can't be sure.

Yeah, and it has been the worst for 30 years. Consistently terrible. WTF.

The make it a mac thing is real and totally awesome. Works with any sandwich.

Just an FYI for anyone that doesn't know, if you work an office job and your company has a corporate Office 365 subscription, each licensed user is able to install all of the Office apps on up to 5 computers. Adobe lets you install on 2 computers, so if your work pays for a subscription to Acrobat or Photoshop you can install it on your home machine as well

Does Glenmore Landing still have the boat theme inside?

Remember when all the McDonald's in the city had their own little theming? The one in Deer Valley was hot air balloons; Macleod Trail by Glenmore was the Stampede; Glenmore Landing was nautical, etc.

Glenmore Landing is just a normal, updated McDonalds. Except the service is apparently unchanged from 30 years ago, going from above.

The theme is "really old, really cheap people".

We probably do, but honestly, it's not even all about the blatant money grab for me. I've replaced my MS-Office-2013 by purchasing a new MS-Office 2019 for $169 using my wife's teacher discount. It's not pocket change, but thank G-d, I can afford $169. Point is, my Office-2013 worked just fine, no issues or complaints! And it simply stopped working, done, garbage as soon as I downloaded Catalina.

I paid for my CS-6 and LR-6 software and both programs worked just fine on Mojave; doing all I need them to do for me. Again, Catalina made them completely unusable. What's worse, after I pretty much had to buy monthly subscriptions for $10US/month (again, thanks to the educational discount); neither program would install on Catalina. Adobe still needs to get up-to-speed with it.

And most importantly, the risk. One wrong keystroke during downgrading procedure and I could have lost all of my data probably. Google Catalina to read the outcry all over Internet... Is this the right and considerate way to implement a new operating system for a dominant market player?

Northland McDonald's was also in on the train theme. I seem to recall the one on 16th ave by COP had a bobsled in it, working to confirm.

Ya, I'm pretty sure the COP one had an olympic theme, and the 4th st NW one had a 50's diner style. It was the first McDonalds in Calgary(Alberta?).
