I just saw this. I can picture someone up in Mulletville licensing this in Oiler colours. Hell, WE should license this in Oilers colours and sell 'em at the 'Dome!

Nothing can save the Oilers.
Not even Super Duper Prospect Depth.
Nothing can.
Nothing.

Yeah, you can escape. What about Gretz.... How about, Fuhr? Okay, Coffey... um. I see your point.

It's amazing how he can type and wave pompoms at the same time.

Its amazing to me how they do this over and over and over again.

"Our prospects are awesome!"

They used to do it when they were constantly drafting top 3 constantly. And yes, your prospects should be awesome when they're constantly among the best ones available, but then when they're on your NHL Roster Full Time they're not really prospects anymore are they?

Or when they're AHL Over-Agers and Journeymen they're not really prospects anymore.

But hey....wash, rinse and repeat....I swear he must just go back through his old columns and just change the names and release it as new material.

I'll be there in San Diego and at Comic Con, I'll ask the people at the booth about potential future "color variants".

A dumpster fire doesn’t do the Oilers justice. I like to think of them more as a dumpster fire located inside of a larger more intense dumpster fire.

No I mean a dumpster inside a dumpster with both on fire. Although a dump fire made entirely of dumpster fires works too.

Honestly, I think the thing that gets me is they talk in the podcast of past prospect charts and mention all these guys they had high hopes/expectations for but then they fizzled or bombed out!
But then they turn around and look at this crop of prospects and it seems like once again every one of them is awesome and going to make the nhl and in fact 5 of them are needed and ready to make this years team?
It's just amazing that after years of overhyping and having crazy expectations of prospect pools only to be disappointed year after year, this year is the year that all changes?
You would think that the reality of "all prospect pools" would have set in and hopefully brought some tempering of expectations, but no it seems to be full steam ahead on the good ship Oilers prospect pool is the best once again.

Not on CP. They'll go to their graves not allowing certain posters back....while easily letting some others back. I think it's all about who the poster is and what the mod thinks of them personally, than what they actually did to get banned, imo.

I guess that's natural human behavior, in fairness. Just like if you piss off a cop and another guy doesn't and then you both drive by that cop holding a radar.....
