At Eternity's Gate, the Vincent van Gogh biographical drama had its digital release last night. Always found van Goth, his story, his life fascinating and the movie did a great job showing the brilliance of his life and the pain. William Dafoe nailed it, no surprise there. Oscar Isaac as Paul Gauguin, great too.
The movie pulled recent theories about his death (not suicide) and the sketchbook that was found only a couple years ago.
Even if you don't care for van Gogh, art paintings etc etc think you'll find something to like about At Eternity's Gate. Dafoe's performance is easily one of the best of the year.
