So glad Kane's not on our team. He's such a dummy

Evander Kane with an unnecessary cheap play? I'm shocked.

Kicked out of the game.

Any particular reason that Sharks goal was allowed to stand despite the player clearly pushing Luongo's pad so he couldn't make a save?

It's so dumb, the NHL is so strong on the idea of having strict rules in place for goals to count, yet they get into the fog of war of actually making a call and often forget their own rules.

I think fans would actually be less frustrated if they released a statement saying "From now on there's no official reasons to disallow a goal, we're just going to let the refs and goal judges use their own judgement on each challenged goal call".

The section behind the benches is the premium section with it's own private lounge and buffet. Those tickets are routinely $250, and it's usually only full for teams from the Northeast because of snowbirds.

Behind the penalty box is about $120 a ticket.

Resale tickets for the Nashville game on next Friday are going for $15. Those are nosebleeds, but still.

Good tickets can be had for $60-100 any night.

With both VGK and SJ losing tonight...it would be huge if the Flames win tomorrow night as it would have them 8 and 9 points ahead of those teams heading into the break with all having played the same amount of games.

Those are gaps that are becoming almost to big to close.

what do you think about Luongo? Enough left in the tank for a run to the playoffs?

Wasn't a fan when he was in Vancouver, but really one of the best twitter reads out there...

kane is such a dick... perfect for SJ
Luongo can do no wrong for me. I didn't like him in Vancouver too, but that's because of the rivalry, nothing else. Love him as a player and a person now.

to answer your question...not sure. It looks like he and Reimer are sharing the net about 50/50 these days, and I think Reimer is pretty terrible. He'll make some big saves but let in absolute softies regularly (remind you of anyone). However, if Reimer is feeling it, he can be nearly unbeatable. Same can be said for Luongo, but it's happening less and less these days.

If one of the two goalies gets hot they have a real shot at the playoffs. But really, team commitment to defense (which has been hard to come by this year) is the key to their success. There's enough talent on this team to not only make the playoffs, but win a round. Call me a homer, but I think it's there. But you need more than just talent to win in the NHL. It's coming together, but you would have thought they learned all they needed to on their run last year.

To whoever was making the prediction the Sharks would fall back to earth once they headed out on a road trip, well done!

Now the Sharks have to play a back to back game tomorrow against a rested Capitals team. Sweet.

The Sharks are a sh*t road team. 11-12-3 after tonight.

They are like a moderately better version of the Minnesota Wild.

I'm so glad Trocheck is back. He was mic'd up tonight and he was a bundle of energy.
The guy just loves the game. The broadcast hasn't posted the most recent clip yet, but here's one from last year at the same time. Coincidentally it was against the Flames. If you watch this you'll get the idea of what kinda guy he is.

Good OOT tonight! Flames have a chance to pad the difference even more tomorrow. Sharks are playing the Caps and Knights the Preds before the all-star break. Both facing tough opponents.

I'm coming down to Miami next month for the game, looking forward to it.

Here's Trocheck's mic'd up from tonight's game. Watch this and try to convince yourself that you don't love Vincent Trocheck.
