Yeah, it’s definitely not about blaming Rittich - but goalies can find ways to stop those shots, and he has done so a lot this season. No reason to be too hard on Rittich, he just didn’t have his best night.

Unless a goalie lets in an absolute stinker, you just can't go goal by goal and say should have had that one, no goalie saves that one etc.
On balance Rittich had an off night and was outplayed by the other guy. It happens, the damage is limited to one point and hopefully the team got a little cold water on their face for the last few games before all star break.
And I'm sure Gaudreau wants that 3 on 1 back.

Because their team was dominated...they had 3 shots as a team in 23 minutes
"ran their show" is ridiculous. It may be the only time in history a team scored every shot they took in the 3rd and OT.
