I think it's safe for work, have no objection to it, like it. But clicking the button isn't that hard so I figure, who cares.

Really glad to see those comments from Peters. He's realistic...........and bang on. This team is winning a lot but not really playing all that great. Lots of room for improvement, no complacency.

This team is truly something else. They never give up or surrender. I love it.

Exactly.
The point is that SOME DO CARE. We are trying to make this place as accessible to as many people as possible; if it requires that you have to click the NSFW button, then so be it.

I love Peters, he has turned this group into something else. But the slow start can be attributed to the separation of Frolik from the rest of the 3M line. The moment he put them back together they started to dominate and turned this game around. Czarnik is NOT a second liner, especially not on a shut down line. He made Chucky and Backs a non-factor. There were a lot of posters saying that Frolik is not so important for the 3M line after the "twitter gate". Well, he proves us wrong I guess.

Last time the Flames played a complete game was the 4-1 win against Winnipeg on Dec 27, over two weeks ago. They've been coasting since then relying on extremely timely goal scoring and some ridiculous saves from Rittich. I really hope Peters is able to drive this home and gets the team to smarten up. They're really fortunate that the bye week is right around the corner, but they still have 5 very winnable games coming up before that. It'd be nice to build up a point cushion so that they're not chasing San Jose or Vegas after the break

Yup. Peters more than any coach since I guess Sutter has his finger on the pulse of the team and knows exactly what needs to be changed or tweaked.

the good news is that they're winning despite not bringing their A game, and they have shown the ability to play better. certainly a good position to be in, but some players that have been playing like they're asleep (monahan, hanifin) need to wake up. good on peters for recognizing it.
that seems to be one of the key differences between peters and hartley. with hartley, it was all about winning the single game by any means necessary. peters, while also capable of winning a single game (in contrast to gulutzan) also stresses that the season is always about building and improving

As with many things, where you work makes a difference. It would not go over well in, say, a courthouse. Prison, yes

What? I never said it was their best game...just saying its the NHL, these things happen. If this is the Flames slumping, I'll take it

Sometimes I do work in a courthouse. But not usually on my iPad. I usually have to be paying attention.
