Prout is some kind of bad. Simple play, no pressure, and the puck ends up at the side of the net.

Somehow he drew a penalty out of that.

I'm pretty much ready to waive Prout at this point and see what can be picked up at the deadline. He's just bad. Like Nick Grossmann bad.

Obviously (or apparently not I guess), the comment was meant partially in jest. Sorry kids (and clearly, those of you who think Smith is a superior puck handler to either Marty are too young to have actually watched either in their prime), I’ll make sure I use green text if I try to be sarcastic going forward.

I think we can all agree, it would be best if the Flames could find a rental backup prior to the deadline. Rittich is still growing into the starter role, and I just don’t think Smith can be relied on down the stretch.
