The Flames literally gave the Avs everything they got in the first.

Obviously, clearly not literally Smith’s fault, but I think it’s naive to think that Rittich isn’t picking up something from Smith. And like clockwork, Smith makes a bunch of great plays with the puck, but inevitably about 6 total bonehead plays per season that end up in his own net. Rittich has 2 in the past 4 days.

This is as bad a take as I've seen in awhile.

Lol. Just is better.
Certainly at suicude passes

Dont forget Marty Turco. IMO, the best of them all. Its was his thing. And incidentally, Smiths mentor.

Not sure how old you guys are, but I'm old.... so, Brodeur emulated his game after Hextall, who was an excellent puck handler and first passer.
Not sure who was better but Brodeur, Hextall and Smith were all excellent puck handlers and first passers.

Ritter and Johnny both had giveaways on that goal, but seems like there is a group of posters who get gleeful when Mony makes a mistake just so they can pile on.

Admittedly I missed the first 10 minutes due to a crap satellite signal, but thought Flames easily the better team. The first goal was a series of unfortunate events - caught stretch pass, lost stick, unset goalie. The second was weak.
|
You missed half the period?
The Flames were outplayed in the first 5 minutes and the last 10 minutes.

I’ll settle this. If you call Smith the greatest, you agree with Francis. Gotta be someone else

Not sure what the LOL is for. He's arguably the best of all time.
Just because he's had a bad year doesn't take away from the fact he's been an unbelievable puck handler during his career.

But he isn’t.
See how easy it is to make an unsubstantiable point?

Over under 1.5 shifts for Ryan in the third period?
Two awful giveaways there
