Filip Sveningsson had a hat trick today!
https://twitter.com/user/status/1050825220574076929
8gp 6g 3a 9pts
This bumps him to 8th in the Allsvenskan for ALL AGES at time of posting.
Very good start for a 19 year old in a men's league and should help with his WJC chances.
Full highlights of his hat trick here:

Good to see Filip Sveningsson putting pucks in the net but this league is equivalent to AHL/ECHL?

Sveningsson scored another PP goal which makes 3 straight games with a goal.
He is now tied with for the league lead in goals with 7.
Goal highlights start at the :12 mark
https://www.hockeyallsvenskan.se/gam.../articles/post
He is trying to make it impossible for the Swedes to leave him off the WJC team.

Is there any way for Sveningsson to get promoted to the SHL this season?

Well sure, his current team could trade him to an SHL team. But they will want something significant for their leading scorer. Either cash or a good player in return.

I wasn't sure if there was a transfer, or affiliation system between the two leagues.

Unless I'm mistaken, they're different tiers of the same league in a relegation / promotion system. Teams in Allsvenskan compete to get promoted to the SHL next year.

I was curious, so I looked it up. There is a promotion/relegation system in place, the bottom two teams in the SHL essentially have to defend their spots against 2 Allsvenskan teams in a best of 7 series.
The top two teams in Allsvenskan (that really needs an abbreviation... AS?) play a best of 3 series, and the winner of that series plays the last place team from the SHL. The loser from the AS top 2 teams plays another best of 3 against the winner of a round-robin tourney involving teams 3-8, and the winner of that moves on to the best of 7 against the 13th placed team in the SHL.

Sveningsson interview in Swedish:
http://www.hockeysverige.se/2018/11/...ytten-fran-hv/
Some of the interesting points summarized:
Went from HV71 (SHL) to IK Oskarshamn (Allsvenskan) because he wanted the opportunity to play continuously in the "A league' (He was mostly with HV71's J20 team with sporadic call ups).
Currently one of the Flames development coaches is in Oskarshamn. He watched the last two games and they had a few dinners together.
Otherwise Sveningsson talks to someone from Calgary once every two weeks.
He consulted with the Flames before signing with Oskarshamn.
They were positive about the situation when he explained that he thought the move would improve his playing situation
It was ultimately his decision though.

I didn't really think that he had much of chance when he was drafted in the 7th round. Now I am cautiously optimistic he will turn into an actual player for the Flames one day.

Corey Pronman @coreypronman
Lines Sweden's U20 team is using today. Unless Lundestrom loaned by Anaheim, could very well be setup for the WJC:
Elvenes-Olofsson-Bemstrom
Sveningsson-Holmberg-Hoglander
Sodergran-Lycksell-Hallander
Wernblom-Back-Sylvegard

It is a bit hard to ascertain as there are few players who go from the Allsvenskan to the NHL. The sample size is too small to know if it is meaningful.
This guy calculates it to be around 0.46 using a different methodology than the standard. That would put it equivalent to the AHL.

After a bit of a pointless slump, Sveningsson picked up an assist yesterday. This was his first game since the WJC
Now at 27gp 9g 10a 19pts
