That is why you don't pay defensive players like quarterbacks IMO

D.T. set a sacks record...didn't score a TD in his career
anyway its debatable, point stands

Well the problem for the Bears isn't the trade or the contract, it's that they went all-in because they thought Trubisky was their guy. They were too confident in a guy they should not have been. The Rams at least waited for Goff to show something before going crazy this offseason. The Eagles likewise waited for Wentz to show he could play before going all-in last year. When you have the QB on the rookie deal, it's an open window the spend during those years. The problem for the Bears is Trubisky has a long way to go prove that, so they jumped the gun. Trubisky better improve or not only will they have gone for it too soon, they won't have any draft picks to find another QB.

Well at least Darnold threw a TD on his first NFL pass.

That is a terrible decision for a high school QB, let alone a pro. Yikes

That’s the Sammy D anyone who stays up for #PAC12AfterDark remembers so fondly.

Bad play call too. Who rolls out their QB on his first ever play? Run the ball.

Jets turnover-prone USC quarterback throws a back breaking pick. I've seen this movie before.

To be fair (to be fair) that likely wasn’t so much a bad throw as it was a case where the gravitational pull of Darnold’s head changed the trajectory.

well Darnold has certainly responded well. Solid on 3rd downs and good chemistry with Enunwa, now a great TD pass to Anderson.
not sure he should already be an NFL starter, but the tools are all there.

Darnold has been very impressive outside the interception.

Another former Belichick assistant having a tough go of it on his own. It's only game one of the season but many the Lions do not look very prepared to play.

Disagree.
The entire team is getting beat in all areas.
