Not a Cyber Monday Deal, or any deal for that matter, but the Saturn V (set 21309) is available on Amazon. It has been very hard to find in stock since release.
Amazon says only 2 left. Is that counter ever actually accurate?

I found a decent on a smaller set, worthy of gifting to a creative builder.
Creator Lighthouse Point 31051 is 40% off on Amazon. Add in the 15x Airmiles through Airmiles shops, and we're approaching 50% off. It is a nice 500 piece set; the alternate lighthouse builds are decent and the main lighthouse build is really quite good. It includes a light brick!

My school has twelve of the Mindstorms EV3 kits. So I've been playing with those lately. Super fun.

I was at the LEGO store in Chinook today picking up my friend's Falcon, and saw that they had at least 3 and possibly more of the Saturn V set in stock, if anyone's still looking.

I finished my Falcon tonight! I decided to go with the 'Original' antenna. Came out to about 30.5 hours of building time sunk into it. It was a terrific, fun build! The one thing that bothered me is that this is the first big LEGO set I've done where I've been missing pieces. In total, 4 were missing (3 from the same step!). I was able to work around them, and fill in one with some of the extra bits I've got around from other builds, but I was disappointed in that.
Big (and not very good quality, sorry) pictures:

Canadian Tire has remaining Lego from Christmas on sale, most is ~30% off. Most of the stores I went to had smaller sets left, but I bought quite a few different Lego Juniors and smaller Star Wars sets for my kids. Will bring them out one or two at a time for the next few months.

My only criticism was that the build was only divided into 4 parts when it could have been over 10. This just meant I had to set a side a few hours per section instead of 30 minutes or so.
It was a lot of fun to build and looks great. I am looking forward to getting more buildings from this series to fill out my lego city.

I just finished the Creator Diner that just came out. These sets are quickly becoming my favorite.

Just finished my first build in about 20 years. Best Christmas present ever. Is it me though or have Lego instructions gotten wayyyyyy easier. It felt like I was just following instructions. Maybe I was just a dumb kid but I seem to remember just having to figure out what changed from page to page.
Do any of you guys trade your sets? I don't envision keeping this out and the real fun for me is building.

I think 3 things changed with instructions. They list the pieces required for each step, they highlight the new pieces in each step and there are twice as many steps including sub steps for various things.

I've been poking around the net for the best way to buy/sell/trade. It seems like the bricklink.com used market is the best option? Is that the case or am I missing something better?

I used to use Bricklink allll the time, going back to when it was called Brickbay. It's a great option if you're looking to buy bulk or specific parts--and you can (could?) usually find a seller close-by. No idea about selling, though.

Is this set something that's difficult to find? It's always available on shop.lego.com.

The massive Millennium Falcon set is in stock!
I caved, though I may turn around and sell it, but need more time to decide if I should buy it so placed the order.

Just put my Saturn V and Taj Mahal sets in the buy/sell forum with CP pricing. Not huge discounts, but less than retail - hoping to finance more LEGO. If you’re looking for some good sets, check them out!
