Schedule's out for the 2018 season. Club already has Nik Ledgerwood signed for the season, and I know of one more high profile (for PDL at least) signing to come in anticipation of Calgary getting a CPL team to start in 2019. Games are currently listed at the "Foothills Soccer Centre", but last I talked to Tommy the venue was still being worked out.
Here's the schedule:
Friday May 11 - Victoria Highlanders @ Calgary
Sunday May 13 - Victoria Highlanders @ Calgary
Friday May 25 - Portland Timbers U23 @ Calgary
Sunday May 27 - Portland Timbers U23 @ Calgary
Friday June 1 - Calgary @ TSS Rovers
Sunday June 3 - Calgary @ Seattle Sounders U23
Saturday June 9 - Lane United @ Calgary
Wednesday June 13 - Calgary @ Seattle Sounders U23
Friday June 15 - Calgary @ TSS Rovers
Sunday June 17 - Calgary @ Victoria Highlanders
Saturday June 23 - TSS Rovers @ Calgary
Friday July 6 - Calgary @ Lane United
Sunday July 8 - Calgary @ Portland Timbers U23
Friday July 13 - Seattle Sounders U23 @ Calgary

Former Whitecap and Canadian youth international Marco Carducci has signed with the club for the 2018 season. This is the other big signing Tommy told me about a few weeks ago.

I look forward to the possible chants with that name!

Myself and a few supporters checked out a Foothills friendly at the field house last weekend. Going to try and share what I know without giving up too much info, because I like that I can have a beer and chat with Tommy and Nik Ledgerwood.
Assuming some of the players I saw on the pitch are ones that will be signed for the 2018 season, I can say that there are two more with professional experience (one with a national team cap), and a third that signed a pro deal, but didn't end up playing because they couldn't get a work visa.
As for where they are playing in 2018, I can't say where it is yet, but I think the location makes a lot of sense when considering the bigger picture into 2019 and beyond. However for 2018, I don't think people will be happy with the location. I will say that it's not the Soccer Centre, so there's that.

Season tickets go on sale next Sunday, and individual tickets are available April 1. Same prices as always. And if one pokes around Foothills' new website, the stadium info is there...

Ya, going to Okotoks is going to suck for me. But for the club, it's probably a positive for two reasons:
1. None of the preferred fields in Calgary were available this year, yet again. They will have priority on this field for the duration of the season.
2. They weren't drawing well in Calgary anyways, so perhaps the Okotoks community will come out and support the club.

Is the move to Okotoks going to be something they consider keeping in place for a potential CPL team? I completely understand the reasoning the team would do it, just really inconvenient for me.
The new website looks awesome though! Really like the layout of it!

I wouldn't call a high school field with bleachers that seat 1000, a grass field, no track, no football lines, and a press box, that the club has complete control over for the season as bush league.
Putting it bluntly, nowhere in Calgary can offer that right now.

I was trying to find a picture of the field with the bleachers but can't, is there somewhere you can point me?
