Flames had a great second. We all know we don’t want the lead going into the third. This is a perfect position to be in here.

Hell, Gaudreau has a few plays this game that were more penalty-worthy than what Bennett got called for. Every puck battle on the boards has a guy with his hand off his stick, half the time the only difference between a solid defensive play and holding is how hard the other guy sells it.

If he doesn't take so many obvious bad penalties in the first place the refs are not going to call the soft ones. That is the way officials are.

Bennett looked decent that period. That late period penalty was another stupid one. I'm fine with a dumb penalty here and there if he can provide some frigin offence.

Hamonic is a real gem. That poor kid never met his dad.

Not only is my son watching which in turn curses the team but he is sitting on the computer chair and every time he cracks a fart he has to look at me like I am going to give him a medal or something. Wtf...

Interesting, apparently Jankowski's parents have been following the Flames on this road trip since it's so close for them being in Hamilton. Was Jankowski scratched on this road trip or was it before?

He was 10 or 11 when his dad died, probably the worst age to loose a parent but he did meet his dad!

He's talking about the kid that he met from Saskatchewan whose dad died while he was still in his mum's belly

I think he means the kid on the most recent segment that had the chance to meet Hamonic.

Hamonic has been a terrific addition for his off-ice work alone. Great to see him also finding more success lately. He's been very consistent in his solidity.

Fudge, Bennett had a nice feed to Kulak that should've pulled the trigger.
