Kings are about to lose 7 of 8 games...they should have been pissed long before this one. Maybe they just aren't very good?

I hope the Flames prove tomorrow that it is the case. They aren't very good.

Hopefully the Ducks lose tonight. Rangers have not been much help this year.

C'mon Jets. Don't blow your load to the Sharks.

I don't think Seth Jones gets enough recognition from the average fan. Great defenseman, not even quite in his prime.

I think Vegas and San Jose will take 1-2 in the division.

#3 slot will be between LA, Calgary, and Anaheim

Canucks, Oilers, Coyotes are done

I don't think either wildcard team will be from the Pacific division

Just hope Textcritic is eventually right about the Sharks falling down the standings. Hope it happens soon.

that's just wishful thinking. Calgary's fortunes go through california for a year or two yet. And likely have to beat 2/3 cali teams just to make the playoffs this year unless someone from the Central has a meltdown.

The Rangers are going to be of no help to anyone. They're horrible.

Minny and Colorado have one point on the Flames with one game in hand on Minny and even games with the Avs

Flames could pass them both tomorrow (some meltdown)

Dallas has played two more games and is four points up

What a great OOT so far.

Edit: Didn't see ANA-NYR... good to see LA and Edmonton lose at least.

Colorado is such a one line team. Even more of a one line team than the Flames.

I'm not surprised they're not as bad as last year but pretty shocked they're this much better.

That just means their team will rise and fall with its first line. Clearly, they've been on a tear the last 10 games, so the results have followed suit.

If the Flames can get a bonafide top 6 winger to skate opposite Tkachuk then it won't hurt as much on nights where Monahan (and thus the top line) is ineffective.

Honestly it kinda boggles the mind that some of you think its basically impossible for Calgary to play better than Minny and Colorado for the remainder of the season

Fleury loses his angle. CBJ cuts the lead to 5-3.

Well Minny is coached by a man who many here on the Fire Gulutzan train think is the next saviour of the Flames and so why wouldn't he work his magic in Minny?

Agreed Colorado will drop off - but not sure why Dallas necessarily will.

Anyways - getting a divisional spot is also important so that the Flames are assured of not facing Nashville in round one. That would be a quick exit for our boys.
