Eh, Smiths been really good but I still think Gaudreau is the MVP of this team. He’s definitely gotta be in league wide MVP discussions at this point.

5/5 on gamethread in the streak. Haha. Another great game! Bennett didn't show much offensively, definitely prefer Monahan on that top C position. Hopefully he is good to go after the break.

EDIT: Sorry, he's tied with Giroux, not Voracek. Wrong Flyer
Johnny still tied for second in scoring though

This team is starting to look like a true contender. Tough time to take a 5 day break with the team rolling like they are. Hopefully they're not too rusty when they get back.

what can you say about the Flames roll right now?!
look as good as i've seen them for a long time... just hoping the PP begins to click a bit more

Unlike last year's streak, the Flames have carried the play and looked dominant, and have not simply been carried by otherworldly goaltending - they've been bailed out at times, sure, but the team as a whole is firing and getting the timely saves. It's encouraging to see.
About the only flaw I can see in their game right now is that the PP still needs work. But it's a small gripe and the PK being so good has helped mask it.
