Default Jan. 13 with nine games.

Finally, a large slate of games after so few games each night this past work week. There are 2 decent morning/matinees to start the day with one of them being long time arch rivals. It will be the 1st time this season the Bruins and Habs play each other, but, they will play again this Wed. and next Sat. Talk about overload.

Barzal having quite a game. 2g, 1a and the game is only half over. He’s making some fantastic plays.

A test as to whether you are confident about the Flames or not is who you cheer for in the Ducks-Kings game.

Oh for the old days of a tie that kept both of your rivals down.

That was fast. 5 points for Barzal now.

Where’s Griffin Reinhart these days?

Never mind Reinhart, I wonder if I'd prefer Barzal/Boeser over Hamilton.

Wow, do you know any teams that could use some secondary scoring like that? I cant think of one off the top of my head.

I really like how they have the Habs and the Bruins playing each other 3 times in a week. I wish they did it more often for all the teams. By that third game their is going to be a lot of bad blood. Especially between these two.

God, Winnipeg sucks. It is probably too much to ask for the Jets to beat these losers.

1-0 Minnesota

It’s interesting, I saw during the first period that the Jets have a very average road record of 10-9-6. They look to be propped up by a ridiculous home winning percentage.

Well we know why Don never made it in the NHL as a player.

Yes it's incredible how wins are so deceiving into convincing people that you're a good hockey club.

Dear hockey gods:

Please, no 3-point game between the Kings and Ducks tonight. I don't think that's asking for too much.

Also, here's hoping Vegas completely embarrasses the Oil tonight. I don't think I could stomach the media hype if Edmonton somehow pulls off the impossible and wins this one. Just imagine how insufferable the SN guys would be over the 5 day break. **shudder**

Very reminiscent of teams like the 2007 Minnesota Wild or the 2012 Florida Panthers who were quickly dispatched in the first round of the playoffs.

Championship teams win on the road. The Jets look like a paper tiger.
