If the Flames no longer have the OT and shootout magic then I don’t like Gulutzans chances of sticking around. His one saving grace was that the Flames seemed like money in extra time. If they don’t have that anymore???

he probably had 2 of 3 in the lineup...Backlund was having a good game and really had the goalie beat. Just couldn't quite pull it off

A point on the road... I’ll take it. Rittich is great. PP sucks, minus that one goal. Backlund was good. Jagr hurt again?

Flames played well enough to win. Got great goaltending. Heck they even got a pp goal.

Moral victory point.... Those don't get you into the playoffs.

Start winning or this thing will soon go full crumple.

Such a minor thing to pick on the coach about. Backlund had a great game and almost scored there. Had he scored it would’ve looked like a genius pick. And Gaudreau hasn’t had a SO goal in awhile.

I wanna say I'm surprised by stuff like this, but I'm not. It's pretty common place when people see what they want to see.

It was a very even game from start to finish. To say they deserved to lose is just laughable.

The Flames has no place in this division. Too many holes to fill and the first line is a liability except in 3 on 3 OT. I hate to say this but they will be fighting for the bottom 3 spots in this division. One up on Coyotes before end of January.

Needed to win this in regulation. That's about as well as the team can play with players like Stajan and Brouwer taking regular shifts.

I thought it was a pretty complete effort and a good road game where they tried for 65 minutes plus, but hey, who am I to interrupt the negativity?

Biggest problem right now is lack of first line production. Need your best players to be your best players

I wouldn’t choose Monny or Johnny these days. The two of them have been flat and are fighting it hard.
