Yes, they were also bad goals that we let in to choke it away...
but between the goal that should have counted last game and the bogus late penalties in game two - to the goal that clearly should not have counted in this game and the blatant high stick missed on Backlund in the closing minutes of this game
I'm done. The league is a &^%$ing joke.
From the minute that goal was counted, I was devoid of any feeling. I just knew how done they / I were / was.
Completely done with hockey for this year.
The NHL is an utter joke.

The Flames choke away a 3 goal lead, they had 5 powerplays to Anaheim's 0, and somehow it's still the ref's/league's fault that the Flames lost. Wow

Could you name a play where you could say a penalty should be called on the Flames that was as blatant as the Cogliano trip on Monahan?

Been stating this all season wrong guy to build around how was he in most important game of the year, secondary assist 4 giveaways and a -1 and invisible again. League is on to him will be a 60-70 pt winger during his career if he stays healthy , and what makes me laugh is people said they would not trade him for Barkov.

Tell me, if the Ducks don't get that goal, do you think this series is 2-1?
Pretty damn sure it is.
The Flames kept the Ducks to almost no shots until that point. It was a spine breaker. Mainly because Elliott, the coach and the team probably felt like they got slighted again and went into hermit mode because of it. It swung everything.
It wasn't the refs, it was the blind, dumb idiots working that office in Toronto.

If Elliott starts game 4, i hope he gets lit up for 10 goals and never gets another NHL contract. Worse than Ramo

I don't necessarily think it's the refs fault, but this game is on the NHL war room.
There's a difference between powerplays and video replays on goals. I sure hope you can appreciate that.
If you don't though I'll gladly admit that the Flames got away with a few 'what could be' penalties tonight.
I don't pin this on the refs necessarily, but what's the point of having a video review in a system that has no integrity?

The NHL puts cameras to catch off sides, but they can't put cameras on the crossbar, up and down, to see if the puck is tipped above the crossbar or if the puck crosses the line? The league can't do this for themselves and their fans? Do they have a really strong union for the war room staff? How can they they do this in tennis but not in hockey?
Joke.

Why not start Gillies to see what the kid has? It can't get any worse than how Elliott played tonight. I'd rather see Gillies than Johnson myself.

Carlyle mixed his lines. Thompson promoted to the top line.

It's almost certain to happen at this point.

The high stick wouldn't have mattered. They would have scored sooner or later anyways. It was that effing 2nd goal that killed us. Going into the 3rd up 4-1 after chasing their starting goalie would have been enough. Not enough in the Honda Centre but enough at home.
I would have pulled Elliot's ass for the 3rd perioid. Garbage.

Flames had 5 powerplays to the ducks 0 so it's pretty embarrassing that some fans are blaming officiating for the loss. Shoddy goaltending and a lack of composure and leadership is why the Flames lost tonight, nothing more.

According to Rule 38.4 (vi) "The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick in relation to the crossbar. If the puck makes contact with the portion of the stick that is at or below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal shall be allowed". Good goal Anaheim.#
The actual answer should have been 'over the crossbar, no goal'
|
Ok NHL can we see a video of you guys pinpointing that the puck was hit on the stick below the cross bar. Because from all the video I saw the puck was above. Instead of making all the these bull#### statements and lying all the time how about some video evidence
