I loved that!
Way to go Sergio!
Well played to Rose as well.
Glad Sergio won it with the birdie as well.

That was great. Good for him.
He was 0 for 73? I think at majors. Nearly the all time record for most majors without a win.
Hope the flood gates open for him now at the majors.

Looking forward to someone on TV reviewing the entire final round to find a way to get a penalty on Sergio.

You're kinda being annoying with that schtick. Besides, penalties can't be assessed after the tournament ends.
Good for Sergio. Great Sunday competition

It's the only sport it can happen in and someone has already tried to get him docked.

Also neat to see Kevin Chappel finish with a t-7.
It's neat because Graham DeLaet had Chappel as his pick going into the tourney (on Graham's twitter). Cool that graham went with a lesser known golfer and the guy delivered.

Have been a Sergio fan ever since he climbed that tree and hit a one-handed backwards shot to the fairway. Great to see him get a major win!

After the tee shot on 13 every iron Sergio hit was dead on. He had great looks at bird or better on the last 6 holes and made a great shot on 13 to help him save par. He deserved the win today.

Good for Sergio, always seemed like a classy guy. And always nice to see someone new don the green jacket.

Any other time I'd be happy that Sergio won, but could've had a cool $150 if Rose had just won. I knew I was cursed before when it came to betting on sports, but this just puts this icing on the cake.

Monkey is off his back now, at 37 he can win a few more majors yet.
I don't think his game can tame Erin Hills but the British Open at Birkdale and the PGA at Quail Hollow sets up nice for his game.

Even if they don't the monkey is off his back. A major champion plus a many time winner worldwide. Pretty well solidifies his status so good for him!

And Hadwin is tied for 13th.
It sure would be nice to see DeLaet get a win.
