They should have her do community service instead of jail time. First piece of service, turn on pipeline at ribbon cutting.

Its pretty rare that Justin puts me in a good mood, but well done today.
She doesn't know they don't serve booze in jail. Once she finds out she'll change her mind.

Should save a bit of time and trouble and send her to jail now.

It's what Castro would've done.

Key Word: "Dreaming."

Nice job today by the government and a tough day for a chunk of their voter base.
I suspect your final sentence is why he made it a point to thank Notley. "This happened because of the most left-leaning politician I could find in a government. I'm still just like you!"

Of course, approving what the NEB recommended is the easy part. For both Notley and Trudeau, we will see how much they actually want these built when it comes time to stand up and denounce the inevitable protests and riots that American oil money is going to throw its weight behind.

Thank heavens these were approved. I was just about ready to throw up my hands if we as a country continued to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Really? I'm not seeing that.

I'm seeing a group of legislators who have had their balls kicked in for almost a year finally see some semblance of reason.

Whether that vision of reason occurred while they raged against it kicking and screaming notwithstanding.

Harper (well, actually the NEB, because he did exactly what he's supposed to do and basically followed whatever the NEB said after their non-partisan assessment) approved the following:
- Keystone
- Keystone XL
- Line 9 reversal
- Northern Gateway
- Alberta Clipper
- Anchor Loop

This is just off the top of my head.

If the Supreme Court shuts down one of you decisions, you don't get to claim credit for it. It means you messed up.

Sure. We can take out NG as an accomplishment. The NEB still got to exactly where Trudeau is at today.

Sorry, what about the other five? Or are you cherrypicking one to say that they're all invalid?

Chances are that these ones are going to end up in front of the supreme court as well.
