Have there been any polls on what kind of support there is for this idea in the electorate? I'm just curious.
Was it Scott Walker that first suggested it as necessary? Have any other candidates indicated they would support such an idea?
Just want to know who to completely obliterate in future conversations.

Not entirely sure. Trump has gone on record saying he is against the wall.

That's not true. He was just extolling the virtues of the wall idea to 18,000 people in Dallas last night. Live on CNN to millions more...
*Ah, I should have read the article first. Trump is a supporter of a U.S./Mexico wall.

Trump thinks a Canada wall would be ridiculous. Scott Walker is a hilarious caricature, can't believe that guy was a Governor.

Got a fence quote not that long ago. $52/foot for 4X6 posts. How many feet does the border measure again?
I like the way Matt Damon thinks. It means that Ygritte is handing around here somewhere.

According to Google, the Canada-US border is 1,538 miles or 8,120,640 feet. At $52/foot, that's only $422,273,280. I suppose if you wanted upgrades to your 4x6 posts, maybe more concrete reinforcement and razor wire or something, the price might be a bit higher, but again this doesn't take into consideration volume discounts you might be able to negotiate for a project this size. If you're able to incorporate a CRL when the wall passes through parts of Montana and North Dakota, you know, to spur development, that might help cover some of the costs too.

And it would be a government contract, so pricing would be about $5.0 bil

I assume there will be holes in the wall for our pipelines, athletes, comedians and beautiful celebrities to get through. You know, the stuff they need.

The only reason why I like the idea of a Canada US wall is so that I can finally get some use out of the catapult and siege engine that I bought on Ebay last year.
They've been sitting in my back yard gathering dust ever since I completed the great Willow Park Campaign of 2014 and conquered my neighbours.

If said fence can keep Scott Walker out of Canada I might be alright with going halfsies with the yankees on the fence.

What about the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence? And Niagara Falls? How are the fish gonna swim back to their breeding grounds?

We shouldn't mock the wall. Helping us keep their guns out of our country at their expense would be a kind and generous gift.

I don't mind the wall being erected if it goes through waterways. Then it will keep parasite mussels and the dreaded Asian carp south of the border.
Of course you don't need a wall to do that, just build dams or something. I don't know lol.

Funny how in Europe they are fighting to tear down borders and encourage free movement.
Meanwhile the US wants walls along all their borders.
