Rowdy Roddy Piper Dead at 61

Nobody could run their mouth like Piper. One of the funniest wrestlers when I was growing up. Not really surprised about his death either. Was only a (sad) matter of time before another one bites the dust. RIP.

I'm not implying that his ethics are in question, just that it is reasonable that he draw some heat for coming to the defense of a person who makes racist comments.

I don't think it would have made much of a difference to his long-term reputation either way. Toombs was always very outspoken and eccentric. It was part of his charm.
