Makes it much easier for people to fill out their roster sheets

How good is he at driving possession? Treliving said he is looking for an improvement in that area.

He's good. 2nd best On/Off Ice Shot Attempt ranking amoung reguler Jets last year.

He's almost worth it for what he can do for the Flames' 20th ranked PK alone. The fact he outscored all our RW except for Hudler by 10+ points is a bonus.

Probably been mentioned but I think there is a good chance Bennett starts on the wing due to physical maturity and centre depth. I think by next season he will be playing his natural position but since he is a little smaller and plays an aggressive game they will start off by sheltering from the centre role as seen in the play offs.

Just me... but I'd swap Hudler and Frolik so that he can mentor Bennett and Colborne. In this swap, I'd also allow Hudler to go back on LW (Which I think is his normal wing?) and Colborne continue RW, but semantics.
Also, are these lines in order? I wouldn't throw Bennett at 2C right away. I'd start him on 4th or 3rd (Stajan line could technically roll a 3a/3b line with Bennett's line if we're keeping the training wheels on him while he develops).
That's what I think. But we shall see what trades end up and what Hartley decides to do.

... why? He's matured plenty physically last year (at least to my eyes) and our center depth is perfectly fine with him there...
Monahan
Backlund
Bennett
Stajan
... YMMV but I want him getting as many reps in at Center as he can. He already lost a big chunk of time to injury last year I see no upside to delaying his development as a center any more this year.

Agreed.
Developing him as anything but a centre would be a disaster. Let him learn the NHL game at centre. People talk about Bennett like he's puny. He's 6'1" and around 190-195lbs currently. The way Hartley handled Monahan's rookie season is exactly how he should handle Bennett. Shelter him, and set him up to succeed.

They'll start him as exactly as they did with Monahan, he'll play centre but take mostly offensive zone draws and he'll take the defensive responsibilities of a winger when in the d zone and the winger will take the centre responsibilities

My belief is that he will play centre in preseason and maybe early season if he does well there. If he doesn't do well, he will wing for Backlund for a month or two while he learns and then would be put back on C when Hartley is impressed with his understanding of the systems or whatever.
I really doubt he would be a winger for half a year before sniffing C.

I'm not sure where Frolik fits with our needs (physicality and so on), but a solid useful player.

I keep Hudler on the top line. He doesn't need to play on a line with Bennett to mentor him.

Frolik would be a good signing. I like that it would possibly make Jones expendable and he could be traded in a Glencross type move at the deadline.

That is the exact move that I am expecting.

You can Frolik my balls, capitan.
I'm way on board to sign this guy (and not just for this reason.)

Frolick was one of the lowest Jets in hits. On the Jets there was no line where he was at all responsibly for a physical presence.
Do the small skilled Flames want to get smaller and easier to play against?
I guess that he replaces Raymond as one of the 3 no contact forwards (not Gaudreau or Hudler)
Does having Frolick taking away ice time from Bouma , Jones or Ferland make the Flames a better team?

What? He'd be a top 6 RW, Needs to possess the puck and help put up points. Where does Hudler, Johnny and Monny rank in hits?
