Yeah Richard. And agree with you on the assessment. But like I said, gotta have a straight guy for the characters to bounce off of. He does have his moments, his purchasing attempt for Adderol was good, though Erlich's help was even better.
Don't like how they are trying to force the love interest. So played in every show. Main guy has got to get together with main girl, not matter how different they are for each other.
Not anti-relationship in shows or even sit-coms, but give us something quirky and real, not the same ol bs.
While Amanda Crew is very easy on the eyes they aren't doing much with her character outside of existing as the hot woman in the dragged out love interest of the nerdy guy that's pretty cliché. Kind of think it would be better if they were random with love interests like Seinfeld or Louie where the ladies would come and go rather than trying to revolve around a single relationship.

Agree on every part. They girl of satanist Canadian made for some funny bits that one episode.
Though I'm not against a permanent female lead/love interest either, just that, as we've both said, it's is beyond cliche as it is now. Not against stereotypical eye candy either, just doesn't have to fill the cliched role. Make her a 'real' character.
EDIT: Pretty girls can have brains, ideas, and agendas of their own too.

C'mon, let's hope they keep the show somewhat realistic!
Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones.. ahhh.. good stuff
I can't wait. I still have the "Optimal Tip To Tip Efficiency" episode on my pvr. That's some of the funniest TV I have seen in ages, I don't think I stopped laughing through the whole thing. I just can't bring myself to delete it. I hope this show sticks around for awhile.
Just finished first season.
Not sure I have laughed so hard in some time.
Tip to tip efficiency was incredible.
Looks like somebody brought piss to a #### fight was one of my favourite lines from the season.
Brilliant stuff
