This thread sucks. I think that most of these deals should have their own threads...

I guess and I didn't mean that as a shot at anyone in particular. I just like each trade having its own thread for the most part. It doesn't take much effort at all, and there is obviously no cost. I think that having threads for basically every trade would keep the sub-forum vibrant and interesting.
I realise that the trades where its a 5th and 4th for a 3rd don't need a thread, but to me a deal that involves roster players should have a thread. If it gets no comments then I slides down off the page, but that's still better than all of these deals buried in one massive thread.

I started posting my trades in here because I was even getting sick of seeing my name attached to trade threads. I had a little trade spree and figured no one cares i am rebuilding and trading.

I actually like having one thread with all the trades within it. One stop shopping and the thread doesn't get lost in the shuffle of the other threads on the board.

dedicated trade threads should still be the goal. The whole reason this thread was started was to try and make it as easy as possible for GMs to quickly post a deal because even getting a deal posted in the first place was an issue for some.

It's no easier to post in one thread or to make a thread, adding a title to your post to so is not so diffulcut a task that we need any easier route.
I have zero isssue when this was a minor minor trades but it's gotten to the point only a select few GM's actually post trade threads anymore and all the dominates the forum are Results, Predictions and POTW threads

^ Did you sign Morrison for free? If so, that's a great piece of GMing! Basically a good college prospect that cost you zero and pair of later picks for a piece that can help you today, and not a UFA. Being a Flames fan I hope Morrison is amazing and works out, but in all honesty its so hard to know. So while I hope you just traded away the next Al Iafrate (I know he has a rocket from the point although he is more well rounded...) he is still a bit of a question mark.
Anyway, hate to clog this thread up with trade discussion (I actually don't hate that at all), but just thought I would throw in my unsolicited two cents.

Ya he would've signed Morrson for free. Good asset management by Mike. Kenney had a great first AHL game so hopefully he continues to shine.

I signed Morrison about a year ago after hearing the Oilers were wining and dining him. As soon as he signed with the Flames had a few GMs inquire but this was the best deal for right now.

not exactly the return I was hoping for but interest was pretty low. Rather take Reinhart and a 4th and hope that Reinhart bounces back than lose Cullen for nothing.
thanks for the quick deal!
