Depends on how it was attached. The Cammy jerseys I changed to Gaudreau were a pain but were successful following these steps.
1) Use an Exacto knife and a ruler to cut through the thread around the perimeter of the name bar. DO NOT use the Exacto knife directly on the jersey, but only on the name bar. If you have more time and want to be safer, use a seam ripper, but the Exacto Knife is fairly safe as long as you only use it on the Name Bar.
If your jersey was "heat sealed" in the first place, you can skip this step.
2) After thread has been removed from the jersey, turn the jersey inside out and run a hot iron over the inside of the jersey where the namebar is for about 15-20 seconds. Depending on the amount of glue or adhesive used to attach the namebar to the jersey, it may come off easily first try in one piece. If there is a lot of glue on the inside, you may have to be patient and peal it off 1-2cm at a time with reheating the name bar after every attempt.
3) After the namebar is removed, make sure you lay the jersey flat on it's stomach with the numbers facing upwards while it cools off. You dont want the remaining glue or adhesive to buckle and stick to itself as this could easily damage the jersey.
I apologize for the grammar (on my phone) but hope this helps!
