Yeah, but why was he out of position? He was supposed to be down by the Flames’ blue line, waiting for someone to get him the puck.
Silly Hall, can’t even play his own no-good system.

These wins are so much fun to watch. Everyone pitches in - Colborne, Bouma, Jooris all step up when needed. Love this team!

Superb.
I don't think we played that badly at any point in this game. We just got slightly outmatched by a committed and motivated Oilers team that I thought played really well for the most part tonight.
From the third period onwards, once we upped our work rate and Hartley juggled the lines, we took control I thought and even when we went 3-2 down we still looked more likely to win the game. Chuffed for some of the lads out there tonight, Colborne and Jooris especially. Colborne has been playing well without putting up points of late, so its great to see him put in 3 goals in these last few games. And as for Jooris, he put in another tireless display and so deserved the OT winner.
Another 2 assists for Monahan, is it any surprise that his productivity spiked once he was put on a shift with Colborne? Hartley, if you take nothing else from tonight, please keep those 2 together, they are gold. Its also obvious(although I don't blame Hartley for not going straight to it) that Jooris is the best centre for Hudler and Gaudreau. Colborne, Glencross and Monahan. Granlund, Byron and Jones for the 3rd, Stajan, Bouma and Bollig for the 4th. Sorted.
Like I said, not at all concerned with any of the potential negatives, we just came up against the Oilers in the mood to play and give them credit, they made a real game of it tonight and made it a proper contest, not like the rollovers the last 2 games have been.
4 wins in a row is going someway to equalising the 8 in a row we lost when we didn't deserve to. Roll on Friday.

I think it is time to call it out, Justin Shultz May be one of the worst dmen in the entire league. Oilers completely ruined this kid.

Kidding aside this is what is fundamentally wrong with the Oilers. 3 on 3 is a classic center + 2 defencemen formation. Why in the world is a winger Hall out there at all?

Flames have now collected nine of a possible ten points in their last five! What a way to put a definitive end to that slump.

Finally we saw a Battle of Alberta. Very physical game and lots of offensive chances on both teams. Of course the outcome is the same..WIN for the good guys. I thought this is one of the best game Curtis Glencross play this season. He could have score a hat trick or more and he was ornery out there. That Glencross-Monahan-Colborne was the best line on both teams. They actually shut down the Hall-RNH-Eberle line. Gaudreau-Hudler line was very quiet until they put Jooris in place of Granlund. The 4th line actually wasn't bad tonight. Jonas Hiller was sharp except for Matt Fraser's goal. Speaking of Fraser, he is starting to annoy me already. I was not even worried about losing to the Greaser tonight. I knew once the Flames scores, the Oilers will fall apart. Oilers should thanked Ben Scrivens tonight. He played well tonight and kept them in the game.
Happy New Year everyone!!

With any other team he'll do just fine... kinda like Joffrey Lupul. In fact I think that would apply to Yakupov and a number of others on that team. That city is just a toxic place that brings the worst out in players.
