Happy days, good to see the farm boys getting going at last after a dreadful start.

Excellent! Seems like they deserved the win. Hopefully they can get on a roll and become a strong team.

I think Ortio got robbed of a star there.

Stevenson 3 points... game of his life I'd imagine.

Would've also given Ortio 3rd Star, but Ferland's play was very strong and he had the first goal.

Seems more like an insult to Hanowski's shot.
"Hey Ben, your slapshot's as hard as toilet paper."

Thanks sureLoss for the highlights. Great to see a win. Hope to see lots of the prospects up this year. Just curious, does anybody know how many saw action last year with the big club?

Nice to see a decent crowd in the highlights. Anyone else missing the old Heat highlight videos?

Ortio with a nice save on the second goal. No chance on the rebound though. Nice hit thrown by, I think Yonkman?
attendance listed at 4,055 which is pretty good

Ortio rebounded last night. Looked more like the goalie we saw towards the end of the year.

Didn't get a chance to watch the game last night, but what I saw from the highlights was an extremely physical team.
I'm probably guilty of it, but I completely overlooked how physical this team can/will be. When you first look at the baby Flames' lineup, the potential skill is what you see first and foremost. Lots of hits being thrown and I love it. That's the way hockey should be played.
Nice to Granlund doing his thing again. And it's especially to see the jubilation in Ortio's body language. You could tell his teammates were elated for him as well, especially Tousignant who gave him a big hug at the end there.

Ortio was that goalie all year long, not just at the seasons end... I think he won his first nine starts last year.
