Any crappy barbarian movie is thoroughly enjoyed by me to this day. Also Mortal Kombat movies.

Almost Heroes is great. I should watch it again.

Starship Troopers is kind of a cult classic though. I saw it in theatres when it was released and loved it but I feel it may have flown over the heads of some movie watchers that were expecting a more serious Star Wars type of movie.
A lot here seemed not to like Lawless but I thought it was an entertaining movie.

Deadfall
The plot was iffy and the ending was weak but I still really enjoyed it. Was oddly satisfying seeing Bana play an absolute psychopath instead of the hero.

A big childhood one for me was Hook (1991) with Robin Williams.
I thought it was fantastic and managed to catch it again not too long ago and still enjoyed it. It's a classic for me, but the critics and audience didn't like it at all it turns out, critics called it wacky, boring and a waste of talent. Are you kidding me?
Also (for RW movies) Bicentennial Man. But apparently the critic world hates Robin Williams.

You should really consider therapy.
A few of the my guilty pleasures only my therapist knew about(until now):
Grease 2: I was young and didn't know any better and now it's stuck with me.
Howard the Duck: see above.
2012: I like John Cusack so I didn't hate this movie.
The Dark Crystal: I don't know if people actually hate this movie or it's just that nobody remebers it but I loved it when I was a kid.
Road House: What a terrible movie that I really enjoyed several times.
Ford Fairlane: Andrew Dice Clay!
Waterworld: I can't think of a good reason why but I actually watched it twice

Saw 3d was absolutely horrible, the rest ranged from watchable to quite good.
If you have an hour to burn, these guys have an interesting take on the series.

It's interesting though, that these guys repeat what I often hear in that everyone hated the movies initially, but after the writers began to connect and intertwine the installments together that they began to appreciate them. Aside from the last one I think they all have their moments, not the best horror fare, but not the worst either.
Has anyone mentioned Showgirls yet? Not that it's a good movie, but I'll always remember it for being the first time I saw full frontal nudity. I was 11 years old on vacation in Disneyland, and it was on pretty early at night. I had no idea what it was about, nor did I care, but I absolutely loved it for obvious reasons.

I remember one of the reviews of Showgirls at the time said something like: Thank you Paul Verhoeven for ruining naked women for me. That was basically how I felt about it. The first 5 minutes of naked women was fun and then it immediately got boring.
A much better movie, IMO, of that "genre" that came out at around the same time was Striptease with Demi Moore. I remember exactly two things about that movie...

Cloverfield
Quite a few people in the theatre were actually booing at the end, I've never seen that at the movies before or since. Everyone I saw it with thought it was terrible too. I thought it was a great movie.

Likely repressed memories.
Thinking you're getting another Henson Muppet film instead we get the nightmare fuel skeksises instead. Although I've never heard of anyone hating that movie.
