If you and your buddies plan on doing it yourselves while drinking, I hope one of you is a surgeon

I actually had one of my buddies who actually is a orthopedic surgeon do a turducken... best part was he cut himself trying to do this and bled all over the turkey. Turned into a chiducken.

Here is our baby from this morning. It is in hour 5 of slow cook at 260F.
Next up is deep frying another turkey. It starts in a couple hours.

skimming through this, the no skin on the inner animals makes sense, I can't see the skin crisping up the way you would want inside the other birds, the results would be soft slimy skin... maybe i'm wrong on this though. interesting adventure anyways.

My sisters response when asked if she had tried one was "ild never cook anything with a turd in it".

I asked an Asian coworker of mine last year if she had ever tried a turducken. She said she'd never heard of it and didn't know the three meats in it. I told her to guess and she said "turkey, duck, and kitten?". I laughed my ass off. Funniest thing I ever heard in a long time

I wonder if that was an intentional joke.
If so, shes got an awesome sense of humor.
Its hilarious either way.

Not intentional at all. She hasn't been in the country that long so she's still learning about Canada.

Tried one tonight, really good, way better than regular turkey alone.

It took about two and a half hours longer than my research led me to believe. We had a great time doing it and the end result was just awesome! It was a hell of a lot of work and not something I would make for people; but if you want to get together with friends and/or family and make an event of it, I`d highly recommend it!
